Watch India win the 2nd Test vs Sri Lanka on Day 4 in this highlights video. If you consider the test match as a whole, it was a closely fought affair though India did the small things a little better on the final day. Like VVS Laxman and Dinesh Karthik playing aggressively even if for not many runs. Even Zaheer Khan who was demoted to No 11 after his slog last innings when Sehwag was within reach of his 200, hung around a bit to push the target past 300. Dinesh Karthik dropped one and held one. One more match is not a bad idea - in any case Dhoni is going to return to the team, so why bother with Parthiv. Dilshan walked into a stagnant Sri Lankan chase and tried to turn things around with strokeplay that rubbed off on Samaraweera who was unbeaten in the end. That was about the only real phase Sri Lanka looked like wanting to chase this down. In all, a fantastic comeback for India similar to the one during the tour of Australia. Harbhajan Singh ended the match with 10 wickets, but it was Ishanth Sharma who displaying possibly his best performance since the tour of Australia caught everyone's imagination in this 2nd innings. Ishanth has had to bowl predominantly on subcontinent tracks since his return from Australia and to do what he did in Australia here will take a while. It's simple, if a guy has done well against the best in their backyard, you don't mess with him - which is why VVS Laxman or Rahul Dravid should never be dropped until they retire.
