Watch cricket highlights from the 1st ODI at Perth (WACA) - Australia vs NZ, played on February 1, 2009.
Highlights are up at Cricket Online TV here: Aus vs NZ 1st ODI Highlights
Scores: Australia 181. New Zealand chase goes down to the last ball, with 1 run required to win. Vettori steers a four.
With Kyle Mills getting among the wickets and Mike Hussey and Brad Haddin having to perform a slow rebuild, Aus couldn't take advantage of the batting powerplay. They were however in the game strongly while bowling after taking quick early wickets. However Ross Taylor's knock coupled with a scrambled end by NZ ensured a tight game that went in the Kiwis' favour.
Pregame: Shaun Tait comes in place of Hilfenhaus. Ricky Ponting won the toss and opted to bat against a New Zealand side missing Jacob Oram and Scott Styris due to injury.

Virender Sehwag was back big time in action today with a 26 ball 42. Yuvraj Singh was in glorious-mode until a poor decision cut him short. Tendulkar too got a bad one again. The Indian innings kind of wilted away after that, but the good start ensured a decent total of 256. Newcomer Thilina Kandamby and Jayawardene tried to steady things but couldn't really push the scoring for a while, with Praveen Kumar making a fantastic return to the ODI team. It all came close however towards the end with Kandamby and Kapugedere turning it on. In the end, SL could muster 241, but it had got closer than that total would indicate.

South Africa vs Australia 5th Perth ODI Highlights
Watch cricket highlights of the 5th ODI - Australia vs SA played at the WACA, Perth on January 30, 2009. Highlights will be up at Cricket Online TV here: SA vs Aus 5th ODI Highlights
South Africa batted first and piled on 288/6, despite not looking for a good part of the game that they were going to reach that high a total. Hashim Amla (97), JP Duminy 60 (42) and AB de Villiers were the prime conspirators in this. Australia in their run chase fell apart with too many dot balls and hardly any intent at boundaries except towards the end. The win meant SA moved to the top of the ICC ODI rankings and also took the series 4-1.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI Highlights Jayasuriya Century
Watch cricket highlights of the 1st ODI - Sri Lanka vs India played at Dambulla on January 28, 2009. Highlights are up at Cricket Online TV here: India vs SL 1st ODI Highlights
Scoreline: Sri Lanka 246. Sanath Jayasuriya century: 107. India chased it down quite comfortable primarily thanks to solid middle order stuff from MS Dhoni (61), Suresh Raina (54) after Gautham Gambhir had stroked a beautiful 62.
Jayasuriya scored yet another hundred vs India and stood out from most of the other Sri Lankan batsmen. Suresh Raina and Yusuf Pathan provided a funny moment when they let a catch drop harmlessly between them, while the Indian middle order played out smart singles and twos to ease themselves to a win in the 1st game of this hastily arranged 2009 cricket series.

Australia stumbled to 222 after Ricky Ponting had played beautifully. With Gibbs coming out in vintage form smashing a quick 38, de Villiers and Amla played sensible yet attacking cricket to wrap the game and series with nearly 12 overs to spare.

Johnson and Tait came in place of Ryan Harris and Hilfenhaus. Australia looked set for a 300 plus score after David Warner 69 (60) belted it around again. The Aussie middle order fell away without even scoring at a decent rate. Later, 3 spilled catches, especially Gibbs and Albie Morkel, basically handed the game to SA who once again despite a good start from Gibbs kept it a little tight before Morkel finished the game off in a hurry.

Australia won with South Africa chasing 250 and falling 5 runs short. A mess up by the SA batsmen while Nathan Bracken was standout for Australia. Morkel could well have had a 2nd shot at an insane win but didn't get enough time and strike.

Australia batted first and put up a target of 272 - Shaun Marsh (79) Ponting (40) early on, and David Hussey later with chipped in stuff by the lower order. 32 runs off the last 3 overs also helped.
Duminy and McKenzie set up the chase with Duminy keeping things moving in his 71 that featured not a single hit to the fence, while McKenzie upped the runrate at crucial times. But with 4 wickets falling within 8 runs, Albie Morkel was required to pull out his IPL Chennai stuff to win the game with 3 balls left in the game.

Duminy 69 (41) yet again waged a one man thing while SA batted to reach a chaseable 157. South Africa had their moments of grip on the game during the Aussie chase but a missed stumping of Hussey by Boucher gave Mike and later Cameron White the chance to regain their big-hitting form. Eventually it read: Mike Hussey 53 (33) Cameron White 40 (18). Ricky Ponting 38 (31)
Prematch: Australia won the 1st T20 game quite convincingly, and today's game will feature a send off for Matthew Hayden who has retired from international cricket.

Australia vs South Africa T20 Highlights 1st 20-20 MCG
So, Australia convincingly got one back on SA - though Aus fell away towards the end of their innings, the Warner knock was basically a match-winning one. Duminy sparkled for South Africa producing possibly the moment of the game - a six off Shaun Tait behind the keeper.
Scores: Australia: 182. SA 130 - Duminy 78 (48), David Hussey 3 wickets.
Prematch: The Day-Night game will see a couple of important left handers missing freom either side - Graeme Smith out due to injury and Matthew Hayden out of luck, form and favour with the selectors. Shaun Marsh will or at least should definitely be on show tomorrow, with perhaps David Hussey/James Hopes coming in too for Australia. SA have named some players in their 14 man squad that have names I barely can pronounce, so maybe tomorrow we'll get a good look at what they're all about. All in all, a fantastic encounter in the offing.

Watch Cricket Highlights from a sensational day of cricket at Cricket Online TV here - SA vs Australia 5th Day's play from the 3rd Sydney Test. Makhaya Ntini, Dale Steyn and an injured Graeme Smith almost pulled off a stunning draw for South Africa. The match ended with just a couple of overs to go in dramatic fashion. Must watch stuff.
When play finally ended on Day 5 at the SCG, Australia had won the match to make it 1-2 in the series and SA had lost a draw by just 10 balls.

South Africa vs Australia SCG Highlights Day 4 Cricket 3rd Test
Score: Australia 257/4 dec. SA chasing the target of 376 were 62/1.
Ricky Ponting (53) declared after the fall of Clarke's wicket leaving for a difficult chase on Day 5. There was a funny moment when the roller leaked oil onto the pitch and had to be removed prematurely by the umpires. South Africa opened with Morne Morkel in place of the injured Graeme Smith - a ploy that didn't last too long. Amla however looked assured in his 30 and though a very tough task tomorrow, it's definitely going to be a very entertaining day of cricket tomorrow.

Peter Siddle breaking through the South African lower order to end up with a 5 wicket haul.
A poor day for the umpires with plumb LBWs being denied for either side.

South Africa 125/1. 36 not out. Smith 30 retired hurt.
The Australian tail wagged pretty hard in the company of Michael Clarke and created a formidable 1st innings score. Mitchell Johnson played top-order batsman stuff though he did get a reprieve early on today. South Africa were dealt a crucial blow when Smith had to retire hurt, but Kallis with some attacking strokeplay wrested the momentum a bit their way towards end of day's play.
